Preface to the stories from Näs

Naémi Rydén

My grandmother, Naémi Rydén, stems from Näs (Naes) in Edshult parish. Here are a few stories about her ancestors and relatives as written down by Olof Danielsson / Eksjö in a small essay in Swedish. I have transfered it to my PC using a scanner and then translated the page. I hope not too many errors have been added in the OCR and translation process. Any comments added by me have my signum -KHR, at the end. I have also linked my ancestral tree, which I have transfered from Family Tree Maker software into a GEDCOM file and from there used a program called Ged2Web to generate the browsable tree. In the future I hope to add more the photos in my possession, from which I have already transfered quite a few to elecrtonic format. Maybe I will also be able to scan photos from the drawers of other relatives in due time.

Two of the sisters to my grandmother, Ida and Elin (Ellen), emigrated to America. This translation is mainly dedicated to their descendants.
